Wearing a revealing purple top and matching fuzzy bucket hat, the 36-year-old actor posted two pictures and a short clip of herself on the social media platform with a surprising announcement.

"Currently seeking a girlfriend. Please submit applications in the DMs," her post read.

After Fox uploaded the advertisement, fans began asking themselves if her engagement to MGK (32) had been called off.

Apparently not! Her partner commented on the post, saying, "I don’t think you have the filing capacity for this request."

Her comment, which read "ITS ME… HI !!!!!!!," garnered more than 6,700 likes.

Fox and MGK don't exactly hide their physical relationship, and it's possible the actor is allowed to flirt with other people, not just her fiancé.

But it seems much more likely that the actor simply wanted to generate a little attention, and she succeeded: within a short time, her post got more than 3 million likes!

It seems Fox's latest Instagram shenanigans won't stand in the way of her wedding with Machine Gun Kelly, though a date for the happy occasion has not yet been announced.
