"Go f*** yourself": Megan Fox defends her love life and her son's fashion choices
Los Angeles, California - Megan Fox held nothing back in a recent interview with InStyle, as she defended her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly and her eldest son's adoration for dresses.
If you thought Megan Fox was soft-spoken, she's here to prove you wrong.
Though she's been the center of press coverage alongside her beau, Machine Gun Kelly (31), Fox has a lot going on outside her highly-public relationship.
Lately, Fox has been on a press run for her latest movie 'Til Death, a thriller about a tumultuous marriage that leads to Fox's character waking up handcuffed to her dead husband's body. But her career isn't what's making headlines; it's her relationship and parenting skills that are.
In an interview with InStyle, Fox opened up about being a mother and her role in encouraging her three children, which she shares with ex-husband Brian Green, to be their true, authentic selves – even if it makes them different.
Take her eight-year-old son, Noah, for example. In 2019, Fox discussed her eldest's son's passion for fashion on an episode of The Talk, sharing that he "likes to wear dresses sometimes." But even though he was attending what she described as a "really liberal, like, hippy school", his classmates would still berate him for his fashion choices.
"Even there – here in California – he has little boys going like, 'boys don't wear dresses'", Fox said.
Hitting back in style
Over the last two years, Noah's interest in fashion and dresses has only increased, and it's got Fox in protective mama-bear mode. But the mom-of-three doesn't let the adversity get her down; a mindset she's encouraging her kids to adapt.
In her interview with InStyle, Fox said Noah has been scrutinized by "mean, awful people and cruel people" online, and it's not something she's cool with. But instead of leaning into the hate, Fox is hoping she can inspire her son to simply "be confident" and secure in himself no matter what.
Recently, Fox has found herself in the hot waters of celebrity gossip. Between tabloids making up stories that she's a bad parent for going out and about with her musician boyfriend and gossip columns dissecting the age difference between her and Kelly, the 35-year-old has her hands full.
But to all the critics and busybodies, she has one simple three-word answer: "Go f*ck yourself."
To that, Fox added: "The fact that he's four years younger than me, and people want to act like I'm dating a younger man. He's 31, and I'm 35. Granted, he's lived like he's 19 his whole life, but he isn't 19. No one would blink twice if George Clooney was dating someone four years younger."
One thing is for sure, if you're coming for Fox or anyone she loves, she will bite back twice as hard.
