Matthew Perry's memoir will dish about the "good and the bad" times on Friends
Los Angeles, California - Matthew Perry will reportedly discuss his past addictions, love life, and his time on Friends in his upcoming memoir.
Perhaps the cast of the legendary show wasn't always as tight as it was perceived to be.
On Friday, an insider shared new details about Perry's upcoming memoir to US Weekly.
From what the source detailed, it seems that Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing will reveal that all wasn't always well on set.
"He’ll delve into his addictions, of course, plus clear up rumors about his feelings for the Friends costars. Plus, he’ll discuss what went wrong in a number of his past relationships," the source told the outlet.
The insider added, "It wasn’t always a bed of roses for Matthew on and off the Friends set, and Matt isn’t going to sugarcoat the tougher times that he went through with the cast. He’ll also discuss what it was like at the reunion, both good and bad."
In 2021, Perry appeared with his five costars on the HBO Max Friends Reunion special, during which they each spoke about their special bond with one another.
The Fools Rush In star was particularly emotional when speaking about his friends and former colleagues, calling them "the most important people" in his life.
Still, it looks like these relationships were complex and there was also space for "bad times" in them.
Earlier this month, Perry tweeted that his book will debut this fall, writing, "So much has been written about me in the past. I thought it was time people heard from me."
He continued, "The highs were high, the lows were low. But I have lived to tell the tale, even though at times it looked like I wouldn’t. And it’s all in here. I apologize it’s not a pop up book."
