Mariah Carey and Millie Bobby Brown team up for iconic TikTok tribute
Los Angeles, California - Mariah Carey enlisted the help of Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown to celebrate the anniversary of the music video for her 1997 track Honey.
Even Eleven knows the significance of Mariah's extensive music career.
Which is probably why the 18-year-old Netflix actor took time away from the Upside Down and Vecna and jumped at the opportunity to collaborate with the pop icon to pay tribute to one of her classics.
On Saturday, the pair honored the 25th anniversary of Mariah's Honey music video by recreating its iconic opening on TikTok.
In the brief clip, the 53-year-old crooner was seen reenacting the scene where she attempts to escape from her kidnappers, with the Stranger Things actor stepping in as the bandits. Mariah pretends to not understand what Brown was asking her while responding back in Spanish – just like in the music video.Millie's boyfriend Jake Bongiovi and Mariah's 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe also took part in the hysterical bit by playing the gangsters who try to scare her into answering their questions.
"'Go eat a buffet' #honey #butterfly25," Mariah captioned the post, which she also shared on Instagram.
On Wednesday, the pop diva announced via IG that she would be releasing a reissue of her iconic album Butterfly, which features the single.
Butterfly 25, the new deluxe edition, dropped on Friday and featured eight new bonus tracks, as well as a documentary about the making of the Honey music video.
