Madonna goes doggy style and Instagram is not about it
Los Angeles, California - Pop icon Madonna has raised eyebrows in recent months with her Instagram and TikTok posts, but her latest reel seems to have left no crumbs - in the dog bowl, that is.
An Instagram video shared to the star's account on Wednesday is still getting flack, as followers continue to tear the clip and her drastically changed facial features apart.
The reel shows the 64-year-old wearing a neon green furry sweater, black sequin shorts, fishnet tights, and black patent leather knee-high boots.
So far, not so out of the box for the Queen of Pop.
She continues to strike various poses in snapshots, straddling a motorbike and then a bottle of Sriracha sauce, while the song I Wanna Be Your Dog by The Stooges plays in the background.
The photos then morph into a trippy video, as Madonna gets down on all fours in front of a dog bowl and starts licking, in keeping with the song's lyrics, "Now I want to be your dog".
The video is simply captioned "Garage Band…" and is far from the most risqué thing the singer has done over the years. But it quickly becomes clear in the comments section that fans are not onboard.
Yet, Madonna doesn't seem to be paying her haters any mind.
Madonna doesn't seem to care about the hate on her TikTok and Instagram
In a TikTok video last week, fans also gave Madonna heat when she twerked in lingerie.
Yet, perhaps her newest TikTok reveals that she will continue posting on social media despite what anyone has to say.
"I would like to apologize ... to absolutely nobody," the star lip syncs to a trending sound.
"The only mistake I made was being too iconic."
She also seems to still have true Madge supporters in her corner.
"Why is everyone so upset??" wrote one follower in her defense. "Lol... Maybe she doesn't want to be what you want her to be....iconic and authentic to herself."
