Machine Gun Kelly saddles up in new trailer for The Last Son
Los Angeles, California – Machine Gun Kelly flaunts his acting chops in a new trailer for the upcoming western-action movie, The Last Son.
On Monday, Entertainment Tonight shared the new trailer for The Lost Son, a western-action flick starring Machine Gun Kelly (31), Sam Worthington (45), Golden Globe nominee Thomas Jane (52), and Heather Graham (51).
The newly released trailer reveals chilling details about the complexities embedded into the storyline for the upcoming film, and Machine Gun Kelly's role in all of it.
The film itself takes place in the Sierra Nevada region of the US during the late 19th century, and follows the cursed, murderous outlaw Isaac LeMay – played by Worthington – on his quest to end his evil family line.
After LeMay learns he is cursed and will likely be killed by his offspring, he embarks on a mission to find and kill his last surviving son Carl – played by Kelly – in an effort to end the curse that plagues him.
While LeMay is chasing down Carl, bounty hunters set out on horseback in hopes of finding LeMay before he takes his son's life.
As the trailer plays on and shuffles through captivating clips from the film itself, one character can be heard declaring, "I'm beginning to think we might be chasing the devil himself," to which another voice replies, "He's just a man."
In a press release from September 16, Redbox Entertainment announced the film would be released in a limited number of theaters on December 10, and will also be widely available On-Demand with access through Redbox on the same day.
Speaking about the film, the CEO of Redbox Galen Smith said, "The Last Son truly portrays the brutality that was the West in the 19th century." He continued, "With an all-star cast, beautiful cinematics, and an engrossing storyline, I know our customers are in for a treat this December."
The Last Son is Machine Gun Kelly's second film of the year, following Midnight in the Switchgrass, which premiered on June 13.
