Los Angeles, California - Though he's currently single, Lil Nas X revealed that has experienced love and loss with none other than his costar in the music video for That's What I Want!

On Thursday, during an interview with SiriusXM's Hits 1 LA hosts Tony Fly and Symon the rapper confirmed that he was dating his costar Yai Ariza.

Yai appeared as Lil Nas' sexy eye candy in the spicy music video for the single That's What I Want.

The two portrayed star-crossed lovers and had some intense scenes together, including a very steamy shower session.

The rapper and the dancer also publically made out during their performance at the BET Awards.

"We were dating, and we are still on very good terms," the artist dished.

He continued, "You know, we may date again, I'm sure."

Since they seemed to have ended on good terms, what caused their relationship to end?

The Old Town Road rapper explained, "I love him; he is amazing. I wanted to kind of focus on my music right now. I am still very much in love, but I'm trying to manage, you know?"

Lil Nas did gush and called Yai "the best person I have ever dated" and also didn't dismiss any hopes for reconciliation.

"If it's meant to be, it will happen in the future… Life is long," he added.

Apparently, the hip-hop star isn't the only one that still has love on the brain.

When the music video was released, Ya took to Instagram to praise his former boyfriend in an adorable post.

"Huge Thank you to @lilnasx for making me part of your wonderful vision, you are so special, you deserve it all , love uuu," the dancer wrote.

Maybe these two will take a page out of Bennifer's love story and give their romance a second chance.
