Ye talks presidential run, embarrassing Kim, and that MAGA hat in "prayer" clip
Los Angeles, California - Kanye "Ye" West had a lot to get off his chest for Thanksgiving.
On Friday, Kanye shared an Instagram video addressing his past behavior – including his "Make America Great Again" hat, his temper, and drinking habits.
"Hello my name is Ye and this is my super, super, super, super, super long Thanksgiving prayer," he began in the clip that had a choir singing in the background.
"On this Thanksgiving, I'm so thankful for family, my blood family, my fans and our haters. We love you, too," he continued.
The 44-year-old mentioned his son, Saint, who he described as "a mix of two of my favorite things: me and my wife's face."
"I take accountability for my actions. New word alert: mis-actions. The one thing that all my successes and failures have in common is me," he shared.
The Donda artist admitted that his "hair-trigger temper" was heightened by his drinking, which he shared "did not help me keep my family together."
He also addressed his manic episode in 2016, recalling, "I was placed under heavy medication. Since then, I went on and off the medication, which left me susceptible to other episodes, which my wife and family and fans have had to endure."
Kanye just wants Kim back
The rapper then touched on his public support for former President Donald Trump.
"Good lord, my wife did not like me wearing the red hat," Ye dished, referencing the infamous MAGA hat.
Kanye goes on to call the SKIMS owner a "good wife" who just wanted to protect him and their family.
"Then I ran for president without proper preparation and no allies on either side. I embarrassed my wife in the way that I presented information about our family during the one and, thank God, only press conference," he added.
This was a reference to him revealing that he and the reality star contemplated aborting their oldest daughter, North, during his first campaign event.
"I've had giant entourages, people around me just to make me feel good about myself. I've had to learn that I had to take accountability," the Yeezy owner stated before concluding his prayer.
Following this, Kanye shared a pic on his IG Story of him and Kim Kardashian kissing, along with the TMZ headline, "Kanye West Says God Will Bring Kim and Him Back Together, Inspire Millions."
Kim filed for divorce from her husband of six years earlier this year and is currently dating Pete Davidson.
Yet, none of this seems to faze Ye as he continues to publicly fight for his marriage to be saved.
