Kourtney Kardashian supports Travis Barker at SNL after ghosting her sister's hosting gig
New York, New York – Kourtney Kardashian was noticeably missing from Kim Kardashian's hosting gig on Saturday Night Live last weekend, but she didn't have any issue with supporting her man on the same set just five days later.
On Thursday, the 42-year-old posted a photo on her Instagram Story showing off an SNL backstage pass while watching her boyfriend, Travis Barker, rehearse for his upcoming performance with Young Thug on the sketch comedy show.
However, Kourtney failed to show up and support Kim when she hosted SNL this past weekend, and Kardashian fans were quick to point out the irony.
Celebrity Podcaster Amanda Hirsch of Not Skinny But Not Fat stirred up the rumor mill by posting a screenshot of Kourtney's Instagram Story to her own, writing, "Wonder if Kim is mad if [Kourtney] goes to SNL for Travis and not her."
Oddly enough, even Hirsch attended the filming of Kim's episode of the Emmy-winning show.
But Kourtney wasn't the only one absent on set last weekend. Both Kylie and Kendall Jenner were missing from Studio 8H this past Saturday, leaving it to Kris Jenner and Khloé Kardashian to support the SKIMS founder on set.
Many fans speculated that "Momager" Kris was throwing shade Kourtney, Kylie, and Kendall's way for not showing up for their sister when she dedicated an Instagram post solely to Khloé.
The post came with a long-winded caption where Kris professed her pure adoration and immense love for the 37-year-old, writing, "I just wanted to give a love and appreciation post to my beautiful daughter Khloé for being the most amazing, uplifting, cheerful, positive, most incredible cheerleader I have ever seen!!"
It doesn't appear that Kourtney liked or commented on her mom's post praising her sister.
Could this be a hint that there's some unresolved tension within the Kardashian family?
