It seems the rapper's constant pleas for reconciliation have fallen on deaf ears.

On Friday, TMZ dished that Kim has filed to become a single woman.

The news is the latest development in the ongoing divorce.

According to the outlet, the SKIMS owner not only wants to be a legally single woman, but she also wants to restore maiden name – something she initially wasn't planning to do.

This is apparently a common move in high-profiled divorces, as it sets child custody and property issues aside, allowing the parties forward with their lives and settle the details another day.

Kim's surprising action follows her attendance at Ye's benefit concert for Larry Hoover, where the rapper once again begged his former spouse to reunite with him.

Per People, though the beauty mogul has shown a lot of support and love for her ex, she "knows where Kanye's head is" but "ignores it." An insider further revealed to the outlet that Kim has indeed "moved on" but it's hard for the Yeezy owner to deal with.

"She isn't surprised that he pleads in public for her to run back to him. She is just trying to be respectful about it," the source added.

There's also the tiny matter of Kim currently dating Pete Davidson, which explains the sudden wish to have her legal status clarified.

All in all, it seems that Kim is ready to get on with her life, but will Ye make it harder for that to happen?
