Kim Kardashian gets slammed for "insensitive" OJ Simpson SNL jokes
Did Kim K take it too far with her few jabs at O.J. jabs?
Calabasas, California - Tanya Brown, Nicole Brown Simpson's younger sister, bashed Kim Kardashian's "distasteful" jabs at OJ Simpson.
Kim K may have nailed her Saturday Night Live gig.
But some of her jokes weren't well-received by everyone.
On Tuesday, TMZ shared that Tanya Brown, OJ Simpson's former sister-in-law, bashed Kim's jokes about the ex-athlete.
For those who don't know, Kris Jenner was BFFs with the late Nicole for years before her untimely death – who many believe was at the hands of Simpson following the murder trial of the century.
Kim's father Robert Kardashian Sr. was one of his attorneys and very close friends with the disgraced running back, yet the Kar-Jenner clan haven't had any contact with him in recent years.
During Kim's opening monologue, the reality star mentioned her late dad and joked that he introduced her to her "first black person."
She continued by telling the audience to take a "stab in the dark" at who that is, which seemingly referenced the horrific way Nicole was killed.
According to the outlet, Tanya felt that the jabs –no pun intended – were "beyond inappropriate and insensitive."
She also questioned if the Kar-Jenners actually cared for her late sister, and feels that the SKIMS owner should have refused to do the jokes.
Though Kim hasn't responded to Tanya's backlash to TMZ, her hosting debut is still being talked about amongst fans as she exceeded everyone's expectations.
Did Kim K take it too far with her OJ jokes, or is this just a misunderstanding in the name of comedy?
