Kanye West is helping Kim Kardashian prepare for her SNL gig
New York, New York - Kim Kardashian is preparing for her Saturday Night Live debut with a little help from her estranged spouse, Kanye West.
The pressure is on: Kim K is days away from her first hosting gig on the long-running comedy show.
Last month, it was confirmed that the Keeping Up with Kardashains star would host SNL.
The news was predictably met by a mixed reception – with some harshly criticizing the NBC series' decision.
On Wednesday, a source told People that the SKIMS creator is both "nervous and thrilled" to host SNL.
"It's a huge deal for her. She takes the hosting gig very seriously," the insider continued.
To illustrate the point, the 40-year-old has apparently recruited Ye in her corner.
The source further tattled that the two have been "chatting" about the upcoming gig.
"He's giving her advice. She feels a lot of pressure. She wants to wow the audience," the informant spilled.
The rapper would know all about the pressure, as he'd had a few controversial moments on the sketch series. In 2016, an audio was leaked of an Ye having an alleged behind-the-scenes meltdown before performing on SNL. Two years later, Yeezy was slammed for his lengthy and ill-timed speech supporting then-President Trump.
Nevertheless, the hip-hop star's willingness to help his ex out has further fueled speculation that their divorce is on pause.
From Kim's unwavering support at the DONDA listening parties to the former couple's low-key meet ups, a Kimye reconciliation isn't too far-fetched.
Will Yeezy also give his former partner some extra support by making a surprise appearance?
The KUTWK star will make her hosting debut on October 9.
