Tristan Thompson apologizes to Khloé Kardashian after revealing he fathered another baby
Los Angeles, California - Tristan Thompson has issued a public apology to Khloé Kardashian after a much-anticipated paternity test has revealed that he is the father of Maralee Nichols' newborn baby.
The disgraced NBA player is kicking off the New Year by asking his Kardashian ex for forgiveness.
Last month, after news broke that Tristan was allegedly expecting another child with Maralee – a woman he had an affair with – the athlete denied it.
He did fess up to cheating on Khloé with in March while the two were still together at his 30th birthday bash.
Yet on Monday, the Sacramento Kings player took to his Instagram story to reveal that a paternity test has confirmed that he is the father of Maralee's son, who was born on December 1.
In the statement, the basketball player shared the he takes "full responsibility" for his actions and is looking to amicably raising his son with the fitness trainer.
The athlete then addressed the Good American owner - who he shares three-year-old True Thompson with.
"Khloé, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you," the 30-year-old wrote.
He continued, "You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry."
Unfortunately this isn't the first time Khloé's ex publicly humiliated her with a cheating scandal. Or the second.
Plus the two did split back in July, so maybe this time the reality star has finally had enough of Tristan's unfaithfulness.
Maybe 2022 will be the year Tristan stops his cheating ways.
