Saying goodbye is never easy.

On Monday, the The Kardashians star addressed the unexpected death of the Sacramento Kings player's mother, the grandmother of her and Tristan's two children.

Khloé was reportedly by Tristan's side after his mom Andrea passed away from an alleged heart attack.

"I have been avoiding this. Avoiding accepting this is real. I have so much to say but nothing at all," Khloé wrote in the emotional post, which featured intimate pics and videos of Andrea with the Good American owner and her daughter True.

The 38-year-old continued that the death of Tristan's mother has been "one of the toughest times in so many of our lives," adding that life can be "brutally unfair."

"But at the same time, I feel blessed that I am lucky to have had someone that makes saying goodbye so incredibly difficult. So difficult that I’m choosing not to say goodbye for good because that is something I cannot fathom. Goodbyes for good are something I don’t believe in. I KNOW I will see you again."

Khloé concluded the heartfelt message with a passage from John 16:22, and wrote "I love you" three times.

Khloé's post is the first update on how her family is fairing amid the loss of Andrea, as Tristan continues to mourn his late mother.
