Keke Palmer slams "insane" haters after iconic SNL pregnancy reveal
Los Angeles, California - While basking in the glow of her newly announced baby news, actor Keke Palmer clapped back at fan's crude remarks about her looks.
Baby, it's Ms. Keke Palmer!
Following Keke's ground-breaking pregnancy reveal during her Saturday Night Live hosting gig, the former Nickelodeon star slammed the internet trolls who called her "ugly."
On Tuesday, the 29-year-old took to Twitter to condemn fans and foes who recently criticized her appearance.
"I just saw a few comments of ppl saying I was ugly 'cause I wasn’t wearing any makeup. And I really want y’all to get the help y’all need because makeup isn’t real. I’m beautiful in real life, because of who I am, not what I look like," she tweeted.
"I wish I could bottle how I feel about myself and sell it. Because some people take comments to heart and these ppl just say anything. I mean truly it’s insane to say anyone is ugly, but especially me," she continued.
The True Jackson star has been candid about her struggles with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which has led her to experience adult acne.
Keke Palmer is about to be somebody's mama!
The good news is that the naysayers haven't stopped the excitement over Palmer's baby news!
During her opening monologue on SNL, Palmer "set the record straight" on all the pregnancy rumors she's been plagued with for months in true comedic fashion.
"There's some rumors going around. People have been in my comments saying, 'Keke's having a baby, Keke's pregnant,' and I want to set the record straight – I am," she said before opening her oversized trench coat that concealed her baby bump.
Her boyfriend Darius Jackson later took to Instagram to post a pic of Palmer and her baby bump while seemingly confirming their baby's due date is in 2023.
One thing is for certain: the Akeelah and the Bee star's bundle of joy will never have a dull moment with Palmer as their mom!
