Kanye "Ye" West investigated for allegedly punching fan
Los Angeles, California - Kanye "Ye" West is being investigated for an alleged physical altercation with a fan.
It seems Ye had a pretty wild evening.
On Thursday, People confirmed that Ye has been named in as a suspect in an alleged battery investigation.
According to the magazine, the incident took place around 3 AM near the Soho Warehouse in downtown Los Angeles.
A source from the Los Angeles Police Department told the outlet, "The report was taken at 3 AM and the incident occurred at Santa Fe and Bay street. No arrests have been made and it's being investigated by our Newton division."
Per the outlet, Ye apparently jumped out of his car and punched the fan, reportedly knocking him to the ground after the unknown victim walked up to the rapper's car asking for an autograph.
TMZ also obtained a video that was filmed sometime between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning where Ye is seen erratically yelling at someone, "Did y'all say that or not? Did y'all say that or not? Cuz that's what happened right f*****g now."
The LAPD are currently investigating the ordeal as a misdemeanor battery.
Earlier that evening, the DONDA rapper had a date night with his new flame Julia Fox at the celebrity-clad restaurant Delilah's.
The pair were joined by several others, including Madonna and Floyd Mayweather.
More than likely, the alleged battery took place after Ye's epic night out with his new lady and group of A-lister pals.
But will Ye end up serving time over the incident?
If he does, he may have to recruit his ex-wife and future lawyer Kim Kardashian for help.
