The lawsuit was filed Thursday to the Los Angeles County’s Superior Court by Phantom Productions, the team behind the Free Larry Hoover concert with Drake, the Donda 2 Experience concert, the Coachella set Ye canceled last minute, and other projects.

"We are incredibly proud of the work that we did with Ye and are disappointed that such a fruitful relationship has come to this," the company said in a statement to Variety.

"A celebrity weaponizing fame and reputation to take advantage of eager collaborators is simply unacceptable," they added.

Phantom alleges that the star owes $7,154,177.67, a figure that stacked from June 2021 to March 2022.

Ye is listed as the defendant along with several of his companies, which are referred to in the suit as "the Yeezy Defendants."

The suit details several projects for which the company received only partial or no payment. West and his team paid for early projects, but only after the company threatened to pull out of the Donda 2 event.

Despite the allegations, Kanye West still has his hands in multiple high-profile projects.
