Kanye West is living at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium while he finishes his delayed DONDA album
Atlanta, Georgia - Kanye West has apparently moved into the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta to complete his latest project, DONDA.
It seems like fans will have to wait for Yeezy's latest work.
After teasing fans with the release of his 10th studio album, Kanye was forced to go back to the drawing board and delay DONDA.
On Friday, media personality, Justin LaBoy, revealed on Twitter that impending project will arrive on August 6.
"Kanye West will move the release date of DONDA to August 6th. Thanks for your patience ❤️ He wants to give his fans the best possible product without rushing anything. He loves yall with all of his heart. God bless," LaBoy wrote.
The peculiar announcement wasn't the only thing that had fans scratching their heads at Kanye's recent moves. Over the weekend, TMZ gave the inside scoop that the hip-hop star has found himself a new home – Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium, to be exact. According to the outlet, Kanye and his team set up a studio space and living quarters after holding his exclusive listening event the day before.
The eccentric artist's reasons for now living in the stadium? Apparently, Kanye was so inspired by the live-streamed affair that he wanted to stay and finish the LP.
If that's not weird enough, the Love Lockdown rapper was also spotted attending the Atlanta United soccer game wearing the same outfit he wore on Thursday.
Has Kanye lost his beautiful, dark twisted mind?
Kanye's love for and dedication to his music is legendary, and this latest stunt definitely fits the bill.
Whatever Kanye's reasons for suddenly becoming the phantom of the stadium, his unreleased album has already made a big impact.
His event live-streamed by Apple gained 3.3 million viewers.
The special occasion was attended by several big names in the industry – including his former wife, Kim Kardashian.
The 40-year-old reality-star and entrepreneur showed her support for her ex-hubby, along with her sister, Khloé, and their four children.
After all this, fans will be even more eager to hear what the self-proclaimed "greatest artist of all time" has produced.
