Kanye West is building an entire house inside a Chicago stadium
Chicago, Illinois - Kanye West is preparing for his next listening party by replicating his childhood home inside Chicago’s Soldier Field stadium.
The rapper is paying homage to his Chicago upbringing and his late mother ahead of his next over-the-top listening event.
On Monday, pics circulated around social media showing Kanye's childhood home being reconstructed in the middle of the Soldier Field stadium.
More reports confirmed that the 44-year-old is indeed building a replica of the house inside.
Kanye has named his 10th album DONDA after his mother, who passed away in 2007.
He's also publicly declared his love for his hometown on several occasions, even naming his 2-year-old daughter with Kim Kardashian Chicago and announcing in 2018 that he was planning to permanently move back to The Windy City.
Plus, if there's one thing Kanye knows how to do, it's give fans something to talk about.
During his first two extravagant listening parties in Atlanta, the eccentric artist dazzled attendees with bizarre outfits, an "ascension to heaven" where he was airlifted from the event, and publicly declaring that his estranged wife Kim is still in love with him.
He also briefly made the Mercedes-Benz stadium his home while completing the LP.
Now, it looks like fans who will attend his third event for the still unreleased album will be in store for something even more spectacular.
However, the large listening parties, along with some unexplained recent moves, have fans questioning if DONDA will actually ever drop. From wiping his Instagram clean to then uploading vague photos, plus reigniting his beef with Drake, it seems like the Graduation artist is either purposely causing a lot of buzz for the album – or using the distractions to cover up further delays.
Kanye's Chicago event is slated for August 26. After going to the trouble of re-building an entire house, will he release DONDA afterwards?
