Justin Timberlake set to perform new single at Biden’s inauguration
Washington DC - Justin Timberlake fans are long overdue for a performance that brings sexy back. The Memphis native, who’s behind the smash hit trending on TikTok, Mirrors, is set to perform his new single Better Days at President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on January 20.
The 39-year-old singer’s announcement came through a behind-the-scenes video, which gave a glimpse into the making of the song and what inspired him and singer-songwriter Ant Clemons to write it.
“This song was our way of doing what little we could to encourage everyone to stay hopeful and to keep working towards a better future," he wrote.
"I’m very honored to announce we will be performing this song on January 20th for the Presidential Inauguration," Timberlake added.
The comments blew up for his post, with fans sharing their love and adoration of the sneak peek he blessed their feeds, with one comment telling him, “You never know how much I appreciate the behind the scenes look at the process. I always admire it! Cheers to 2021 and what’s to come JT!”
Others are purely psyched that Timberlake is taking the stage with Clemons to share their message of hope on such a monumental day in US history, saying, “YASSS!! Let's get it! SO proud of you and Ant, Justin! Cannot WAIT to watch!”
The performance will be part of the Celebrating America TV special which will be aired after President-elect Joe Biden is sworn in.
