Justin Bieber accused of cultural appropriation for controversial hairstyle – again!
Los Angeles, California - Justin Bieber has a new hairstyle – and his fans are anything but happy.
It's probably too late to say Sorry now – but that's just what Bieber should be doing given that he doesn't seem to have learned anything.
Five years ago, the Baby singer faced heavy criticism after wearing dreadlocks for the first time.
Even though he quickly shaved them off again, he shared a video on social media with the cryptic caption: "Being weird is fun' if u r not weird I don't like you."
Given that this incident happened back in 2016, you'd think a lot would have changed since then.
However, his latest Instagram post showed otherwise.
His fans are incredibly disappointed in him for bringing back the traditionally Black hairstyle that many people have long faced discrimination for.
"Are you kidding me?" one of his followers wrote in shock. Another said, "It's really disappointing to see you with dreads, I thought you educated yourself."
Justin Bieber's fans on Twitter are not happy!
Twitter users have criticized Bieber for speaking out in favor of the Black Lives Matter movement and sampling speeches from Martin Luther King Jr. on his latest album, now only to now wear dreadlocks as a white man.
Justin Bieber has yet to respond to the criticism that has flooded his social media.
