Julia Fox talks partner swapping, BDSM, and being compared to Kim K
Los Angeles, California - The jury's out on if the world really needed an extremely intimate look into Julia Fox's previous romantic relationships. But alas, she divulged, so here we are.
On Thursday, the host dished on her past as a former dominatrix on her suggestively titled podcast, "Call Her Daddy."
The 31-year-old revealed, "Through doing this, just for money, I ended up learning about my own sexuality, which I’d never really had a chance to explore because my sexuality was always being used against me."
She continued, "My sexuality was something to be guarded and protected and not something to be explored."
The Uncut Gems star then went on to detail her time as a sex worker of sorts, during which she admitted to smothering "slaves" in the dungeon with her underwear, while making sure to let them know they would "never be good enough for" her... privates.
She revealed that didn't sleep with any of her clients, but the "very controlled environment" of the dungeons allowed her to discover what she's into.
"I was also able to explore my own [kinks] because there’d be times in a session where I’d be like, 'Damn, this is horny as f***.' This is hot."
As for what she's into these days?
"I’m into weirdly, like, partner swapping and then watching, more foursome vibes. I’ve never done it. In my other relationships, I feel like I’ve always been so jealous and so possessive in my relationships. I don’t want to be like that in the future."
Julie say Kim K comparisons are "unfortunate"
Fox further revealed that she began experimenting with drugs as a young teen and she previously overdosed more than once.
She recalled about her last incident, "There's been a few. But the last one, the really bad one."
Fox continued, "It was on my birthday and it was really sad because my sister was there and she was sober and the whole party was ruined. I literally fell over in front of the whole party. That was a very awakening moment."
Moving forward, she addressed her whirlwind romance with Ye, who "wants me to be the best version of myself."
"That is always the conversation. Always. Like how am I gonna live up to my full potential, which I think is amazing," Fox added.
As for those "unfortunate" Kim Kardashian comparisons, the 32-year-old insisted: "Women are always just being pitted against each other and obviously there's 10 years of history that they have prior."
Ultimately, she doesn't want to get in the middle of it all: "I'm not going to – I don't want to ever step out of line and speak on something that I have no place speaking on."
