Johnny Depp appears to diss Amber Heard on upcoming album
Los Angeles, California - Johnny Depp's upcoming album reportedly features a thinly-veiled swipe at his ex-wife, Amber Heard, on one of the songs.
The new album, titled 18, was recorded in collaboration with fellow musician and Depp's close friend Jeff Beck.
While 11 of the 13 tracks are covers of artists like Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground, two are originals written by Depp and one appears to rip on Amber Heard.
In an early review of the album by The Times UK, lyrics for a song called Sad Motherf***ing Parade are revealed, where Depp sings "You're sitting there like a dog with a seven-year itch" and "If I had a dime, it wouldn't reach your hand."
In another line, he sings, "I think you've said enough for one motherf***ing night."
While the Secret Window star doesn't mention his former partner by name, fans couldn't help but speculate that his lyrics seem to reference his defamation lawsuit against Heard, which Depp won last month.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor has put most of his focus into his music career after the trial, performing with Beck across Europe and hinting at the return of his band, the Hollywood Vampires. He will also make his return to acting next year in the French film La Favorite.
Johnny Depp and Jeff Beck's collaborative album drops this Friday, July 15.
