Jimmy Kimmel burned his hair while cooking Thanksgiving turkey... again?!

Los Angeles, California - It turns out that Thanksgiving is a dicey holiday for Jimmy Kimmel. While preparing his Thanksgiving turkey, the comedy show host accidentally singed off some hairs, proving he hasn't learned from a previous toasty mistake.

The 54-year-old shared a selfie on November 25, clearly showing a scorched hairline under his cap. "Happy Thanksgiving everyone," Kimmel wrote in response.

"Try not to burn your hair and eyebrows while firing up the stove."

Shortly after, Kimmel posted another picture of himself holding a crispy turkey up to the camera.

Looks like his fateful repeat run-in with the powers of oven temperature didn't prevent his family from missing out on Thanksgiving dinner.

Kimmel's oldest daughter Katie (30) commented on Instagram, "Again?" to which the host replied, "Yep. It's a holiday tradition now."

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last year, Kimmel admitted to a similar mishap on the Fourth of July.

Apparently, he set off a "massive explosion" on his gas grill, scorching his beard, eyebrows and eyelashes. He's also managed to burn his entire tie while grilling on another occasion, begging the question: does Jimmy Kimmel understand fire is hot?

Let Kimmel's burned-off hairs be a cautionary tale for you this holiday season. Cook with care!
