Jennifer Aniston may be getting a rival in season two of The Morning Show!
Los Angeles, California - Jennifer Aniston is returning as Alex Levy for the second season of the drama series, The Morning Show.
The news girls squad may be gone for good!
The official trailer for the next season of the Apple TV+ series has dropped and from the looks of it, the drama will be at an all-time high.
Jennifer Aniston will reprise her role as the ambitious former co-host of the fictional breakfast news program, but as last season clearly showed, not all that glitters is gold.
In the clip, Alex faces the repercussions of her decision to leave TMS after dropping the bombshell reveal that the network was a toxic work environment and she helped cover up for years.
The teaser also shows Alex coming face to face with Bradley Jackson, played by Reese Witherspoon, who resents Alex for her after believing they would be "a team." Will this start a rivalry between the two?
In addition to the ongoing tensions the former season perfectly set up, new faces will be appearing for the sophomore season!
Hasan Minhaj, Julianna Margulies, Greta Lee, Ruairi O’Connor, Holland Taylor, Tara Karsian, and Valeria Golino will join the star-studded cast for what is sure to be an exciting batch of episodes.
In the meantime, the Friends star has been reeling from the success of the recent HBO Max special that reunited her with her former costars.
Over the weekend, Jennifer paid a sweet tribute to Courtney Cox's daughter, Coco, who also happens to be her goddaughter.
Maybe Alex Levy had to get her hands first, but Jennifer Aniston will always be there for those she loves.
The Morning Show season 2 airs on September 17th.
