The Covid-19 pandemic hasn't been easy on anyone, including celebrities like Jennifer Aniston.

What started with politicizing face masks in 2020 has created the groundwork for a similar narrative with vaccinations.

In a recent interview with InStyle for its September cover story, Aniston shared details about how her friend group has been altered since vaccination efforts ramped up in the US.

"I've just lost a few people in my weekly routine who have refused or did not disclose [if they had been vaccinated], and it was unfortunate," the 52-year-old told the publication.

In June 2020, during the height of the pandemic, the Friends star took to her Instagram to encourage her 37.7 million followers to mask up, despite the minor inconvenience it might cause.

"I understand masks are inconvenient and uncomfortable. But don’t you feel that it’s worse that businesses are shutting down...jobs are being lost...health care workers are hitting absolute exhaustion. And so many lives have been taken by this virus because we aren’t doing enough," Aniston wrote in the post.

With the rise in cases due to the highly contagious delta variant, businesses and government officials are calling for people to bust out their masks yet again, regardless of vaccination status.

But for Aniston, this doesn't provide an excuse not to get vaccinated, and she's using her platform to shout it from the rooftops, telling InStyle, "I feel it's your moral and professional obligation to inform since we're not all podded up and being tested every single day."

After being delayed due to the pandemic, The Morning Show, which Aniston is a lead on, will return to Apple TV+ for its second season on September 17.
