J-Lo and A-Rod respond to break-up rumors after his alleged affair
Miami, Florida - Superstar couple Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez did damage control this weekend as reports swirled about the end of their high-profile romance.
The two got engaged in March 2019 after two years of dating. But a bombshell report of their breakup was dropped by Page 6 on Friday and repeated by multiple news outlets, who have since back-peddled.
Now, the celeb couple has slammed the reports.
"All the reports are inaccurate. We are working through some things," they said in a statement to E! News on Saturday.
Jenny from the Block even took to her TikTok and Instagram to clap back at the rumors. The 51-year-old singer posted a video on Sunday with sexy highlights of her career – including screenshots of the recent breakup reports.
Her response to them was a simple: "You're dumb."
A-Rod also gave his thoughts to paparazzi in Florida on Saturday.
"I'm not single," he replied when asked about the split.
It was alleged that the athlete was having an affair with the Southern Charm reality show star Madison LeCroy (30). Rumors surfaced in early February that the two were secretly dating and sleeping together.
LeCroy confirmed that she has spoken to Rodriguez (45) on the phone but that she had never been physical with him. She opened up about her new boob job on Instagram in October and said that women should never be shamed for their sexuality and confidence.
The power couple have many multi-million dollar business ventures together and had to postpone their dream wedding twice due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They quarantined together with their children from previous marriages and often posted dancing videos on social media of their family.
J-Rod has said that they have gone to therapy in the past and are now currently long-distance due to work commitments.
Whether LeCroy has had anything to do with their rough patch is still unclear.
