"I'm truly blessed": A$AP Rocky sings Rihanna's praises at the premiere of his new documentary
New York, New York - During the premiere of his new documentary Stockholm Syndrome, A$AP Rocky dished on his romance with Rihanna, who he already claimed is "the one" for him.
On Sunday, the rapper's project premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in honor of the event's Juneteenth programming.
Yet, all the excitement about his latest film seemed minuscule when asked about his lady.
"It's important having that support in real life, you know?" A$AP revealed during a red-carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Almost a month after confirming their romance, the 32 -year-old musician didn't hold back his feelings for the pop singer.
"It's amazing and I'm honestly truly blessed, for real," he gushed.
The documentary – which is based on the Peso rapper's life, music career, and arrest in Stockholm, Sweden – features appearances from Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, and Tyler the Creator.
The artist also shared why in making the film, a "nothing off-limits" motto was necessary.
"I think making a documentary is all about vulnerability. The documentary is all about showing honesty, authenticity, purity," he added.
The rapper spent time in a Swedish prison
In July 2019, A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was arrested in Stockholm after getting into a public fight.
The rapper was held at Kronoberg Remand Prison until his trial, which led to several petitions to have him released.
Though the L$D artist was found guilty of assault, he didn't have to serve any more jail time because of his initial imprisonment. But, the rapper is banned from ever returning to Sweden.
However, with A$AP's constant sweet remarks about the Umbrella singer, it's clear he was still able to find love in a hopeless place!
