Harry Styles hit with sour surprise during Los Angeles show

Los Angeles, California - The end of singer Harry Styles' concert at the Kia Forum on Monday night took a brutal turn when he was hit by an object thrown on stage during his bows.

The 28-year-old performed his 11th show in Los Angeles as part of his 15-show Love on Tour residency at the arena.

While he was thanking the crowd, a fan threw what appeared to be a handful of Skittles directly at the singer.

One directly struck Styles' left eye, causing him visible pain as he doubled over and continued the bows while keeping the eye shut.

Fans at the show were angry on behalf of the star and noted that he struggled to keep his eye open while performing his closing number, Kiwi.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time cruel fans have hit the singer with something on stage. Last month, Styles took a painful hit while performing in Chicago when someone threw a bottle at him.

The official Skittles Twitter page joined in on the conversations surrounding the viral incident, writing, "Didn't think I needed to say this: Please don't throw Skittles."
