Halloween star Jamie Lee Curtis reveals surprising news about her youngest child!
Santa Monica, California - Jamie Lee Curtis proudly revealed that her youngest child has come out as a transgender woman.
During her new candid interview with AARP The Magazine — the Freaky Friday star shared her joy in witnessing her child live her truth.
Jamie Lee disclosed that she and her husband Christopher Guest "have watched in wonder and pride as our son became our daughter Ruby."
The 62-year-old also dished that her 25-year-old daughter is engaged to be married.
Though she doesn't have grandchildren yet, the You Again actor revealed that she and Christopher hope to have some soon.
Jamie Lee wed the British screenwriter in 1984 and together they adopted their two daughters.
Her husband is also the fifth Baron Haden-Guest due to his British heritage — making the Knives Out star technically Lady Haden-Guest.
Jamie Lee further detailed what she felt helped keep her long-lasting marriage intact.
"I feel safe when I drive up and see that [he is] home. That's the long marriage. It's the safety of knowing his car is in the garage, that I'm not alone," she expressed.
Jamie Lee is set to reprise her iconic role as Laurie Strode in the upcoming Halloween Kills from the Halloween franchise. The horror film is the sequel to 2018's Halloween flick.
In addition to Laurie, the upcoming slasher film will also bring back several original characters from the 1978 movie including Lindsey Wallace, played by Kyle Richards from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Halloween Kills hits theaters October 15!
