Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner deny "mean girl" accusations after deleting sus TikTok
Los Angeles, California - Models Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner were accused of being mean girls and Mrs. Bieber has since clapped back at the accusations.
Are the iconic besties "mean?"
That certainly isn't fetch, but Hailey's now-deleted TikTok fueled this speculation.
It all began over the weekend when Justin Bieber's wife uploaded a clip of the pair, joined by Justine Skye, at what appears to be a club.
The video showed the ladies holding drinks in their hands as they lip-synched the audio: "And I’m not saying she deserved it, but I'm saying god's timing is always right."
Though the audio was a viral TikTok trend last year, Hailey's removal of the clip sparked some chatter amongst fans who questioned the intentions behind the seemingly shady video.
Hailey Bieber claps back at fans who dubbed her a "mean girl"
After another user reposted the deleted clip, TikTokers sounded off in the comments section with scathing accusations.
Some pointed out that the trend was outdated, prompting others to accuse the 26-year-old model of purposefully seeking out the audio for malicious reasons.
"Definitely intentional, that audio hasn't been trending in a long time – they purposefully had to go find an old audio to use for this," one fan wrote.
Well, Mrs. Bieber showed up in the comments to offer her response to the drama: "I never comment on this type of thing but we were just having a girls night and did a random TikTok sound for fun. It’s not directed at anyone."
Seeing as how Hailey's been pitted against Selena Gomez numerous times, although the two are apparently on good terms, maybe fans misread this allegedly harmless video.
In the name of feminism, it's time to get rid of the mean girl vibe in 2023!
