Austin, Texas - Pop star Grimes and whistle-blower Chelsea Manning have reportedly called it quits after only a few months.

A source told Page Six that the pair are done and that they "had been breaking up for a while."

They had only recently moved in together in Austin and had been reportedly "getting serious" quickly after their relationship was revealed back in March.

But things apparently didn't work out, and according to the outlet, Grimes is now back on the dating scene.

The short-lived romance came after the artist's split from Tesla CEO Elon Musk, shortly after she accidentally revealed the two had welcomed their second child into their growing family via a surrogate during.

To make matters even more complicated, it was also revealed last week that Musk secretly fathered twins with a coworker back in November 2021 while he and Grimes were still together.

Manning is well known for spending seven years in a military prison after she leaked classified documents to Wikileaks while she was working as an intelligence analyst. She was originally sentenced to 35 years, but that was commuted by former president Barack Obama.

Grimes' latest album Book 1 is currently streaming everywhere while Chelsea Manning will be dropping her memoir README.TXT on October 18.
