Ezra Miller enters plea in burglary case that could get them years behind bars

Bennington, Vermont - Ezra Miller has entered a not guilt plea during their arrangement for the alleged Vermont home invasion.

On Monday, the Flash star appeared virtually for the court hearing held at Bennington Superior Court.

According to NBC, Miller's attorney pleaded "not guilty" on behalf of the unhinged star who is facing charges after they purportedly burglarized a man's home in Stamford.

The 30-year-old DC has been charged with one felony count of burglary into an occupied dwelling, as well as petit larceny.

The judge presiding over the brief hearing gave Miller a few pre-trial conditions following the plea, which reportedly included a ban from the accuser Isaac B. Winokur's property.

Per NBC, if the Perks of Being a Wallflower star is found guilty, they could face up to 26 years in prison.

The actor's burglary incident, in which they allegedly broke into Winkour's home and stole bottles of alcohol, is just one of the many controversies surrounding them this year.

From multiple arrests, to grooming and assault allegations, Miller's erratic behavior has plagued headlines this year.

Some in the entertainment industry have noted that the Justice League star has got off lightly for actions that would have ruined the career of many others.

In an in interview with Elle on Thursday, Issa Rae slammed Warner Bros Studios for "protecting" them.

"There's this person who's a repeat offender, who's been behaving atrociously, and as opposed to shutting them down and shutting the production down, there's an effort to save the movie and them," the writer remarked.

With Miller now in court and facing serious time behind bars, though, not even Hollywood can get them out of this tight spot.
