Emma Stone clarifies a juicy rumor about an injury from partying with the Spice Girls
Los Angeles, California - Emma Stone stunned audiences with her performance as Cruella de Ville. But, the movie suffered a minor setback due to Stone having an injury and the star explained just exactly what happened.
In 2019, the Easy A actor broke her shoulder about a month before Cruella started production.
After a picture floated around the internet of Stone sporting a cast at a Spice Girl concert in London, a rumor began that Stone was living her best life at the event, which is how she got hurt.
On Wednesday, the Zombieland star explained on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that this never happened. During the interview, Stone went on to clarify that she did attend a Spice Girls concert but the night before, she fell on a slippery floor at a friend's house in London.
"It was a waxed floor in this house and I slipped and my arm went back behind me, and I broke my shoulder. And then I went to the Spice Girls concert the next day [and] wore one of those little cuffs," Stone revealed to the host.
You've got to give the La La Land star major props for being a true Spice Girl fan and still attending the concert, injured and all!
What's next for Emma Stone?
Stone has plenty of other reasons to celebrate these days. The adorable star wed her fiancé, Saturday Night Live director, Dave McCary in 2020. In March, the spouses quietly welcomed their first child, a daughter named, Louise Jean, according to TMZ.
Now that the Superbad mom has stepped into the Disney world, will there be a Cruella sequel? Perhaps another adaptation of 101 Dalmatians with Stone reprising her role?
Nonetheless, we'll be itching what the comedic star has up her sleeves next!
