Austin, Texas - Elon Musk and his daughter Vivian are no longer speaking, and Musk has a theory on why that is.

In a recent interview with the Financial Times, the Tesla CEO shed some light on what he believes has warped his daughter's young mind so much that she wants nothing to do with him – getting a higher education.

"It's full-on communism and a general sentiment that if you're rich, you're evil," he said, not elaborating on which US college has "full-on communism" in its curriculum.

"It [the relationship] may change, but I have very good relationships with all the others [children]," Musk insisted, adding tartly: "Can’t win them all."

Vivian (18), one of the first of Elon's 10 children, was born Xavier Musk in 2004 from his first marriage to Justine Wilson.

Back in April, she filed with a Los Angeles court to change her name and get a birth certificate that reflects her gender identity. As part of her name change, she also took the last name of Wilson, her mother's maiden name, in an effort to distance herself from her father.

"I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form," she stated in her filing.
