Two months have passed since the 35-year-old and her husband John Legend (41) shared their heartbreaking family tragedy with the world.

This time has been "brutal, exhausting, sad, physically challenging, mentally painful" for all of them, the model admitted with typical honesty.

But Chrissy is getting back on her feet and she was recently able to celebrate a small victory: on Monday, she managed to take her first shower after losing her baby.

This may not sound like a much, but for Chrissy it represents an important milestone.

Over the past weeks, she could only take baths because she "couldn't stand to be in the shower." It was impossible for her to "physically stand" in the shower cabin.

This little triumph made her feel "really, really good," she told her 33.3 million followers.

Chrissy Teigen is slowly starting to get better

Although the loss of her child still affects her a lot, it seems that things are slowly starting to get better for her. The signs are there: as Chrissy's mental state improves, tree leaves appear "orange instead of gray" and the "sky is indeed blue and not black". Her outlook is changing and color is returning to her life.

The celebrity couple has two children, named Luna Simone (4) and Miles Theodore (2). Their third baby, a boy, would have been called Jack. The two brought their unborn son's remains home and the whole family is slowly coming to terms with the grief.

On November 30, Chrissy Teigen celebrated her 35th birthday – another opportunity to bring some joy into her life. Husband John Legend dedicated a few words to her on Instagram and wrote that his love for her will forever remain "infinite and unconditional".
