Byron Bay, Australia - Just 24 hours after joining TikTok, Chris Hemsworth is already boasting a six-figure following as fans rushed to welcome him to the platform.
Chris Hemsworth, best known for playing Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is no stranger to social media.
He's got 55 million fans on Instagram and posts regularly.
Now the Australian actor has branched out into the wild world of TikTok.
On Sunday, he posted his first clip, and it quickly raked in the likes and views.
Set to the song Tik Tik Boom by Sage The Gemini, the post features shots of the actor walking the red carpet and interacting with fans and co-stars Natalie Portman and Christian Bale at the premiere event for his latest movie, Thor: Love and Thunder, which comes out Friday.
"Sydney fans! LA fans! Love you guys! #ThorLoveAndThunder opens Wed in Aus and Fri in the US. Preorder tickets now, link in bio. Oh and hi TikTok......!" Hemsworth wrote in the caption.
As of Monday morning, his first TikTok had well over 100,000 views and 37,000 likes.
