Will Haley Cavinder play basketball at TCU?
Fort Worth, Texas - Haley Cavinder, one half of the athlete-influencers the Cavinder twins, appears to be gearing up to represent the TCU Horned Frogs in her final year of college basketball.
Earlier this month, a surprising announcement from Haley sent shockwaves through the basketball community: She revealed her decision to come out of retirement to enter the transfer portal and pursue basketball once more.
Since then, fans have been eagerly speculating about the TikTok star's potential new team. However, the guessing game might be coming to an end.
In a new TikTok video, Haley teased that she has become her father's favorite daughter now that she's back on the court, with a clip of the two strolling through TCU's campus.
The video showed her and her dad walking in front of the Jane & John Justin Hall of Fame building, which honors TCU athletes across various sports.
The video quickly saw over a million views as eagle-eyed TCU fans recognized the campus and enthusiastically rallied behind their Horned Frogs, flooding the comments section with support.
Can Haley Cavinder lead TCU to success, as she did at Miami?
Last season, Haley Cavidner was the Miami Hurricanes' leading scorer and earned All-ACC honors, averaging of 12.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
She then led Miami to their first-ever Elite Eight appearance where they lost to eventual national champions LSU.
If Haley is set to represent the Frogs this season, will she bring them the same success, as she did with Miami?
Fans are eagerly awaiting an official announcement on where she'll land.
The NCAA hoops season is set to begin on Monday, November 6.
