Carrie Ann Inaba announces leave of absence from The Talk due to serious health issues
Los Angeles, California - Carrie Ann Inaba announced that she’s taking a hiatus from The Talk to focus on her health. The host suffers from multiple chronic diseases.
Inaba, who has been a co-host on the popular daytime show, recently announced that she is taking a break to focus on her health. The singer took to her Instagram to make the announcement earlier this week.
"Hi everyone, I wanted to let you know personally that I have decided to take a leave of absence from The Talk to focus on my wellbeing. I know you guys understand, health is the most important thing. So, I appreciate your support, I appreciate the love and support from The Talk family, and I hope to be back soon. Take care and I'll keep you updated. Thank you,” the dancer said in the video.
Inaba’s co-host, Sheryl Underwood also confirmed that the Dancing with the Stars judge would be temporarily on leave.
Inaba's hiatus follows the recent news that Sharon Osborne, who was one of the original hosts of the show, announced that she was officially leaving the series after coming under fire for her support for Piers Morgan.
According to People, has been diagnosed with several serious illnesses, including Sjorgren's syndrome, lupus, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis.
