Cameron Diaz makes big admission about her Hollywood career

Los Angeles, California - Known for her comedy roles and girl-next-door attitude, Cameron Diaz has starred in a range of iconic films in her 20-year-career. But since appearing in the 2014 adaptation of Annie, Diaz has turned her back on the demanding world of moviemaking.

Speaking to Yahoo Finance recently, Diaz revealed exactly up why she's been taking a break from acting.

"It's just a different time in my life now," she said.

Diaz shared that her family life with husband Benji Madden and daughter Raddix (1) has been the "most fulfilling thing" she's ever done in her life.

She added, having "a family and be married and have our little nucleus of a family. It's just completely the best thing."

"I don't have what it takes to give making a movie what it needs to be made," she continued. "All of my energy is here."

Apparently, her break with acting came after Diaz observed an industry friend who decided to start a family: "Her family started to evolve and I saw her go like, 'Oh, wait, I only have 100%.'"

"You only have 100%, we don't have two 100%, we have 100%. Right? So you've got to break up that 100%."

"How much are you going to give to your family? How much are you going to give to your career?"

No longer a working entertainer, Diaz has in the meantime found a new passion for wine-making.

Last summer, Diaz and entrepreneur Katherine Power launched Avaline, a "clean" wine label made with organic grapes and free of additives.
