Brittany Snow and Tyler Stanaland split amid Selling the OC flirt fest
Los Angeles, California - It seems that for actor Brittany Snow, her husband Tyler Stanaland's flirtatious showing on Netflix's Selling the OC might have been the straw that broke the camel's back in terms of their marriage, as the two are going their separate ways.
The news of the couple's split, which came by way of Brittany's Instagram, isn't all that surprising for those who binge-watched the entire first season of the Selling Sunset spinoff, Selling The OC.
But it turns out Tyler and Brittany's relationship might not have been as "solid" as the realtor and Newport native made it out to be on the real estate-inspired reality TV show.
In a post that featured a black and white photo of Brittany and Tyler, the Pitch Perfect star wrote: "After time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate. This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another."
She continued, "We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives. We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie. We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter."
Tyler's flrity ways on Selling the OC
Though Brittany didn't list any specifics, viewers of Selling The OC have an inkling that the breakup might have something to do with Tyler's flirtatious ways and getting a little too close with coworkers while filming.
After all, it's one thing to have female friends, but it's another to let them strip down in front of you and suck your face when you're a married man. And yes, both of those things happened, with Tyler involved, on the first season of Selling the OC
A source told People that the couple "had issues before" Selling The OC, but him joining the cast was the "final straw."
"Brittany never wanted Tyler on the show, but he was adamant," the source told the outlet.
Tyler and Brittany got married in March 2020, which the Prom Night star called "absolutely and impossibly perfect."
