"This is me messing around": Britney Spears posts and deletes topless photos multiple times
Los Angeles, California - Hardly a day goes by when pop icon Britney Spears isn't in the headlines, but now it's her Instagram antics of posting – then deleting – and posting again numerous times in the same day that have caused further confusion.
It's no secret Britney Spears has been living under her father's conservatorship for years and has been fighting for her freedom in court. On Monday, she officially petitioned for him to step down.
She shares her life with millions of followers on Instagram, and earlier this week, posted two topless photos that many fans thought was a sexy nod to the #FreeBritney movement.
Yet, the 39-year-old inexplicably took things a one step further: deleting the photo, then uploading it again hours later. Some followers noted the shot was taken down again and reposted a third time on Wednesday.
"Oops! She did it again!" the comments read, referring to Britney's famous song. "Round three."
Dedicated fans vowed their support: "I promise to like this photo no matter how many times you post it," wrote one. "It gets better every time."
Britney shows her "true colors"
Just a few hours later, Britney made a completely different turn - posting a photo of frilly underwear with the caption, "Girls just wanna have fun." Later in the day, she posted two more unrelated memes, one claiming to not be able to see her "haters" looking through "love glasses."
The pop star also posted a new video showing off her artistic side.
Shared on Wednesday, she is seen dressed in a white outfit, painting on a large white paper laid out on the floor.
The star accompanied it with emotional words addressing her conservatorship drama.
"As you guys know there’s a lot of change going on in my life," she wrote. "At the moment and today I was feeling overwhelmed."
"I wanted to see color and this is me messing around!!!" she explained.
As the posts keep coming, there is certainly a lot of messing around happening on her Insta.
