Is Britney Spears' boyfriend about to put a ring on it?
Los Angeles, California - Are Britney Spears and her boyfriend Sam Asghari taking the next step in their relationship?
An insider revealed that the couple is busy making family plans and wants to get engaged soon, coinciding with what may soon be the end of Britney's conservatorship arrangement overseen by her father Jamie.
Last week, paparazzi photos surfaced showing the pop star's boyfriend at the luxury jeweler Cartier in Los Angeles, which has kicked engagement rumors into high gear.
According to Page Six, the 27-year-old actor and fitness trainer was checking out several pieces of bling and was shown some diamond rings at the store.
Asghari has said he dreams of being a young father and is "very protective" of his relationship with Spears, whom she chose to be her love interest in a music video in 2016.
"I want to be able to get married and have a baby," Spears said during a bombshell testimony in June of her "abusive" conservatorship. "I was told I can't get married. I have an IUD inside me, but this so-called team won't let me go to the doctor to remove it because they don't want me to have any more children."
Although Spears recently declared her appreciation for her "cute a**hole" boyfriend for sticking with her "through both the best and the hardest years" of her life, some fans are still skeptical of Asghari for perhaps taking advantage of the pop star admid the stuggles over her estate.
Could Britney be headed to the alter a third time?
If the two tied the knot, it would be marriage number three for Spears.
In 2004, she was married for 55 hours to her childhood friend Jason Alexander (39), and later that year married dancer Kevin Federline (43), with whom she shares two sons.
Fans of the #FreeBritney movement are looking forward to the star's upcoming court date on September 29, as her lawyer has asked that her father Jamie be suspended from his conservator role by that date.
As of now, her father has not agreed that his removal would be in his daughter's best interest, but said he would work towards an "orderly transition."
Perhaps her boyfriend also has his eye on a big transition for the couple, too.
