Britney Spears reveals her wedding dress will be by iconic designer
Los Angeles, California - As she awaits her next court date, Britney Spears has dished that her wedding dress is in the works.
One of the world's biggest pop stars is apparently enlisting the help of one of the world's most well-known designers to help bring her dream gown to life.
On Tuesday, Britney posted a series of snaps on Instagram of herself in a pink tulle gown.
Naturally, in discussing her upcoming nuptials, fans might have assumed that this is the gown she plans to wear when she weds her fiancé, Sam Ashgari.
To avoid confusion, she explained that the ensemble isn't her wedding gown, and that Donatella Versace is creating her dress.
"No … this is not my wedding dress, bahahah !!!! Donatella Versace is making my dress as we speak," the 39-year-old wrote.
The pink gown definitely complimented the Toxic singer, but it will be worth the wait to see Britney sporting a Versace wedding dress on her big day.
When the singer eloped with her first husband Jason Allen Alexander in 2004, she sported a cap with ripped jeans. The marriage lasted for 55-hours before it was annulled.
For the Circus singer's second wedding to Kevin Federline later that year, she wore a dress by designer Monique Lhuillier. They pair divorced in 2007.
Needless to say, having the iconic fashion designer behind the haute couture house Atelier Versace – who has created iconic looks like Jennifer Lopez's infamous "Jungle-Dress" – is a dream come true.
And no one deserves it more than Britney.
However, fans may have to wait a little longer for Britney and Sam's big day.
Last week, it was reported that the couple's wedding plans are on hold until her conservatorship hearing, which is scheduled for this Friday.
The hearing is expected to address the termination of the singer's 13-year conservatorship.
