Britney Spears responds to Kevin Federline's claims about wrecked relationship with sons
Los Angeles, California - Britney Spears responded after her ex Kevin Federline claimed that their two sons no longer speak to her.
In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Federline spilled the tea on the singer's strained relationship with their two teenage sons, Preston (16) and Jayden (15).
Federline (44) claimed the boys refused to attend her recent wedding with Sam Asghari in June and that they have a serious problem with their mom posting topless photos of herself on the internet.
Britney responded in an Instagram Story posted late Saturday night.
"It saddens me to hear that my ex-husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children," she explained. "As we all know, raising teenage boys is never easy for anyone."
"It concerns me the fact that the reason is based on my Instagram," she continued. "It was LONG before Instagram. "
The Toxic artists went on to describe the situation as "HURTFUL," and reveals that her mother advised her to "GIVE [the boys] to their dad."
Britney opens up on effects of conservatorship
Britney then a follow-up message on Instagram, explaining more about the effects her controlling conservatorship has had on her, which she terminated only 8 months ago.
"Reminder that the trauma and insults that come with fame and this business not only affect me but my children as well!!!" she wrote
"During my conservatorship I was controlled and monitored for nearly 15 years ... I needed permission just to take Tylenol!!! I should embark on doing WAAAY more than going topless on the beach."
