Britney Spears opens up on unexpected wellness check
Los Angeles, California - Britney Spears has addressed her die-hard fan base after a few concerned fans sent the cops to her home.
Following's insiders claiming that the 41-year-old pop star was reported annoyed when the cops' did a wellness check at her home, Britney took to Twitter to ask her fans for some privacy.
"As everyone knows the police were called to my home based on some prank calls. I love and adore my fans but this time thing went a little too far and my privacy was invaded," the Gimme e singer wrote in the post.
The longtime entertainer's update comes after several of Britney's fans took to TikTok to express worry after the Hold Me Closer artist removed her still-deleted Instagram account.
A few users even live-streamed their 911 calls that then led the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office to visit the Britney's Thousand Oaks home on Wednesday night, TMZ confirmed.
Britney Spears asks for privacy during her Instagram break
Britney said she "felt like I was being gaslit and bullied once the incident made it to the news and being portrayed once again in a poor and unfair light in by the media."
The singer concluded the note by asking her fans to respect her privacy "moving forward."
It's not exactly unusual for Britney's fandom to go overboard, as they tended to fret over every – admittedly peculiar – post before she removed her Instagram account.
But this isn't the first time Britney's deactivated her IG, and since she's still active on Twitter, it's clear that the star is really just fine.
