Oops! It looks like Britney's coming to the Big Apple - sort of.

With a new announcement, the pop star got a happy birthday gift indeed.

On Friday, the Princess of Pop's 41st birthday, producers confirmed the Britney jukebox musical, Once Upon a One More Time, will debut in 2023 at New York's Marquis Theatre. Previews are slated to begin May 13 with an opening night set for June 22.

Hip-hop choreographers Keone and Mari Madrid will direct the production that will feature the pop princess' discography and a story inspired by her hit singles, including Oops I Did It Again, Toxic, Lucky, and Circus, among others.

Described as a "fantasy that flips the script on classic fairytale characters," the musical will focus on the retelling of Cinderella, Snow White, and the Little Mermaid, but with a feminist twist.

Tickets go on sale to the general public via Ticketmaster on Monday at 10 AM ET.

The show's big move has ramped up speculation on whether the singer will be involved with the new project.

The upcoming production of Once Upon a One More Time previously had a well-reviewed world premiere of from November 2021 to January 2022 at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington DC.

It had another out-of-town run scheduled in Chicago that was cancelled due to the pandemic.

As of now, a Broadway cast hasn't been announced, but the DC tryout starred TV comedy actor Briga Heelan and American Idol's Justin Guarini.

There's no word on if Britney will be part of the New York run. Thus far, she hasn't been directly involved, but she did previously comment on what the show means to her.

"I'm so excited to have a musical with my songs — especially one that takes place in such a magical world filled with characters that I grew up on, who I love and adore," Britney said in a statement about the show. "This is a dream come true for me!"

She also reportedly attended the first reading of the musical back in 2018. The show has apparently been in the works since 2017.

Britney Spears may soon have two musicals on Broadway with her music

Surprisingly, it's likely that this may not be the only Broadway show running to feature Britney's music.

The recently opened musical & Juliet features the songs of pop prodigy producer Max Martin and includes Britney hits I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman, Overprotected, Oops! … I Did It Again, ... Baby One More Time, and Stronger.

Granted that the show will stay open through next year, Britney will have not one but two musicals featuring her music on the Great White Way at the same time.

As her restrictive 13-year conservatorship finally came to an end last year, many fans are wondering if she'll at least pop up in the audience at the show's Opening Night.

And even though Britney herself may not make an appearance on Broadway, any show featuring her classic songs is definitely worth checking out.
