Britney Spears and Elton John are working on an original collab!
Los Angeles, California - It's pretty much official: Britney Spears is making her big return to the music scene alongside Elton John!
Details of the new collab are limited, but the track will be titled Hold Me Closer, a spokesperson confirmed to the PA news agency.
Previously, sources told Page Six that the superstars were working on a new version of Elton John's 1971 hit, Tiny Dancer.
On Monday, the British musician shared an image to his official Instagram of a rose and rocket emoji, along with the words "hold me closer."
More information is due to be shared in the coming week, the spokesperson added.
Whatever the exact details of this project, it's clear that the pair are cooking up something truly spectacular and this is as close as we've come to official confirmation.
The comes as the Toxic singer, who is now a happily-married woman, continues her legal battle with her father Jamie Spears over the 13-year conservatorship she had to endure.
Last month, a judge denied a motion by Jamie Spears that the pop star should return to court to face further questioning over the controversial legal arrangement, which ended in November last year.
