Britney Spears' fiancé lands role in Hollywood legend's big production!
Los Angeles, California - Britney Spears' fiancé, Sam Asghari has landed a role in Mel Gibson's upcoming film, Hot Seat!
On Tuesday, Deadline confirmed that the 27-year-old was recently cast in the action film.
According to the outlet, the thriller follows an ex-hacker who "is forced to break into high-level banking institutions by an anonymous man who planted a bomb under his chair at his office."
Mel Gibson will play the lead character in the flick.
This will be Ashgari's first big role, after he made several small appearances in shows such as NCIS and HBO's Hacks.
Back in May, the actor and model told Variety that he longed to do more action films. It looks like his wish was granted.
The news follows Sam's engagement to Britney after he popped the question in September.
The fitness trainer has been supportive of his fiancé ever since her legal journey to drop her conservatorship began.
Britney Spears demands justice for her families' actions
Speaking of which, Britney hasn't stopped speaking out against her extended family's role in her conservatorship nightmare.
Amid her current legal battle, the pop star has been very vocal about the mistreatment she suffered at the hands of her father, Jamie.
Although she hasn't really addressed her mother, Lynne, or her sister, Jamie Lynn, some of Britney's posts do hint at deeper issues.
On Monday, the 39-year-old shared a pic of a mini typewriter plus an emotional caption.
"It's humiliating and it's like every person I've ever opened to immediately says they'll be gone on a trip for two weeks after ... OK I get it ... they're only available to me when it's convenient for them. Well I'm no longer available to any of them now. I don't mind being alone," the Toxic singer wrote.
She continued, "This message is to my family ... for hurting me deeper than you'll ever know !!! I know the conservatorship is about to be over but I still want justice !!!"
The upsetting caption follows the latest victory in court. Jamie Spears was suspended as her conservator after 13 years and freedom is now on the horizon for Britney.
From a wedding to her fiancé's upcoming big break, things are shaping out well for the pop princess.
