Justin Bieber slid into Billie Eilish's DM's with the sweetest message

Los Angeles, California - It is not exactly a secret that Billie Eilish has been a Belieber at heart since her young teenage years. Her new documentary shows unseen footage of Billie in tears reading a text from Justin Bieber after they met for the first time.

In her Apple TV+ documentary, Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry, which dropped Thursday, we see Billie meeting Justin for the first time at Coachella in 2019.

Surrounded by a crowd of fans, they lock eyes but the self-declared Belieber, visibly overwhelmed with emotions, is initially too shy to hug him.

Eventually she overcomes her fan panic, however, and they hug for what seems like eternity.

On the way back to her hotel, she breaks out in tears. "I literally cried in his arms for like 5 minutes," she says.

And apparently, the extraordinary meeting resonated with Justin as well: he later slides into her Instagram DM's with a heart-stirring message which has Billie sobbing in disbelief once again.

"Your love for me touched my heart. You are so special, not for what you can do but for who you are – remember that," the text reads.

"I’m so impressed by your aura and presence. You carry a heavy calling. You are an idol to so many and I'm excited to watch you flourish. Thank you for tonight. It meant as much to me as it did to you. It feels like yesterday I was 15 singing 'One Time.' It flew by in a flash. Now I'm 25. Embrace it all, Billie. You are great but not greater than anyone," the message concludes.

Fans have since gone berserk on Twitter and other platforms following the revelation of the tear-jerking messages exchanged between their two favorite superstars.

"I'm so proud of you" - Justin Bieber to Billie Eilish

Later in the doc, Billie also receives a message from Justin in which he asks her to collaborate with him. The teen-sensation is left awe-struck and asks her family for advice, as she doesn't think she could handle a music project with the Biebs.

Instead, she decides to offer him to team up for a Bad Guy remix. "You could literally hop on this song and just say 'poop' and I’d be happy with it," she responds to Justin. A little down the road in July 2019, their mix became an instant hit.

After making history with her multi-win at the 2020 Grammy Awards, her idol even FaceTimed her while she was backstage. "Was it amazing? How did it feel?" he asked her, and added: "I'm so proud of you."

The special friendship between Justin and Billie has since only grown stronger.

During Justin's Apple Music interview last year, he said, "If (Billie) ever needs me I'm going to be here for her."

He also added that if Eilish ever needed him, he'd always be "just a call away."
